CHRIST CENTRAL CHURCH – CHILDREN’S MINISTER (PART-TIME)

Church Website:  www.christcentralchurch.net

Christ Central Church is a young Southern Baptist congregation of around 100 members with an average weekly attendance of 25 in children’s ministry. Up to this point, those leading our children’s ministry have been mainly volunteers from within the congregation. With continued growth over the last few years, we are now seeking to further develop this area of ministry with the addition of a staff position. The applicant for this position should be prepared to cooperate with our team of elders in developing a family-centered discipleship plan for three different age groups: Nursery (Birth-2yr), Preschool (3yr-5yr), and Elementary (1st-5th grade). The applicant will work with and provide oversight for an already existing volunteer team in order to implement this vision.

All applicants should be maturing believers, disciplined in both spiritual matters as well as vocational. Necessary qualifications include previous experience in a children’s ministry setting. At the very least, this means consistent participation as volunteer in a previous setting. Additionally, applicants should sense a calling to ministry with references to validate that calling. A bachelor’s degree (pursuing or attained) is preferred, but not necessary. For more information about this position, contact pastor Jason Seales at jason@christcentralchurch.net

NORTH SHELBY BAPTIST CHURCH – CHILDREN’S MINISTER

North Shelby Baptist Church is seeking an experienced individual who shares our devotion to educating and inspiring the next generation of disciples of Christ in the knowledge of the Word of God, and who also motivates and unites the church in its desire to share the love of Jesus through missions and outreach.  North Shelby is a Southern Baptist Church that values tradition and is conservative in our theology while seeking to be liberal in our love to others for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a growing multi-generational church, and we hold to the BFM 2000 as a summary of our beliefs and convictions. North Shelby was born out of a group of believers that started meeting together in 1992. This group, through much prayer, felt led to plant a church in Shelby County Alabama that would be traditional in style and conservative in its theological convictions. Since that time God has blessed North Shelby with resources and people to see that vision become a reality. God has placed North Shelby amidst one of the fastest growing areas in the state of Alabama, and it is our desire to be a bright light for Him amidst our fast-growing community.
