SBA Office Ministry Assistant (Full Time)
The Shelby Baptist Association is seeking an Office Ministry Assistant for our front office. We need a person who is passionate about serving others, works great with the public, and who can multitask while also staying focused. The person filling this position will be tasked with work associated with all receptionist duties, administrative office duties, supporting management staff when needed and will be tasked with posting and working on both the social media and the website of the Shelby Baptist Association (SBA). This person will need to be proficient with Microsoft Office 365, social media and website implementation. It would be helpful if this person was also bilingual.

Laborer/Truck Driver (Part-Time) at Earthly Treasures Thrift Store:
Earthly Treasures has a part-time laborer/truck driver positions available. This position requires someone to drive our trucks to pick up donations, work with the furniture ministry, assist with garbage removal, and assist with donations within the store. The person filling this position will be out in the public picking up donations, on the sales floor, and around customers, clients, and volunteers. Christ Central Church – Student Minister (Part-Time)

Christ Central Church is a young Southern Baptist congregation of around 100 members with an average weekly attendance of 15 in the student ministry. Up to this point, those leading our student ministry have been mainly volunteers from within the congregation. With continued growth over the last few years, we are now seeking to further develop this area of ministry with the addition of a staff position. The applicant for this position should be prepared to cooperate with our team of elders in developing a family-centered discipleship plan for students (6th grade – 12th grade). The applicant will work with and provide oversight for an already existing volunteer team in order to implement this vision.
All applicants should be maturing believers, disciplined in both spiritual matters as well as vocational. Necessary qualifications include previous experience in a student ministry setting. At the very least, this means consistent participation as volunteer in a previous setting. Additionally, applicants should sense a calling to ministry with references to validate that calling.
